Week 5: Mission Peak
Following up with my NYR and doing the monthly hike. It wasn’t as bad as the first time but there was a point where hiked without bending my knees to minimize the pain in my gluts lol.
I almost turned back 1/4 of the way up but I’m glad I didn’t. Friday was just one of those days where I needed a breather, to get away from the loneliness, noise, assignments and responsibilities. I’m glad I went with Kuma and I really needed this, to clear my head. But next time I go I will definitely bring a flashlight, jacket (never knew how cold it gets at night…), a friend and better music.
I forgot my camera with my mom hence the iPhone picture :(
Week 4: Hair
My hair has been roughly brown for almost 4 years now. When I was a freshman I asked my dad if I could dye it and he said when I’m a senior in hs I could. But I cheated and dyed it junior year. That had to be one of the happiest days of my hs life lol. Idk, when I looked at myself in the mirror, I just never felt like black hair was me. I remember telling my friend that I was going to dye my hair, wear better clothing, get my teeth straightened and become this whole new person. Oh boy, serious self-esteem issues back then.
Now most of the people I hang out with have never seen me with black hair. Not even I can imagine myself with black hair, what am I going to do when I get older?! /)_(\
Week 3: Accomplished!
Ending my Saturday with Howl’s Moving Castle :). Oh and I finished winter session!! FUCK YEAH: 4 crazy speeches, midterm, final, hw and group presentations every day doe. I also started my diet and exercise plan this week. No carbs, mostly veggie meals. 2.5 mile jogs and 90 minutes of bikram yoga (106F heated room, I better lose some weight -__-).
The place I go to is surrounded by so many tempting and delicious fast food places, my stomach cries for it. Plus I pass by Mitsuwa on my way home!! Do you know how tempting that is!? ;___; So instead of stopping by to get a dericious bowl of ramen I just end up buying some raw salmon/fish and cucumbers. It’s suppressing my cravings for now, but for how long? HOW LONG??? x___x
